Collar Size Guide
Step 1: Measure your Dogs Neck
Have your dog sit in front of you and using a soft tape measure do the following:
You will want to use a cloth measuring tape to figure out the circumference of their neck. Generally speaking, to get the collar size from this measurement, add 1 inch for small breeds (that weigh less than 10 pounds), 2 inches for medium-sized and large breeds
Dog Collar should be snug enough to fit two fingers between the dog's neck & their collar.
Step 2: Choosing the Right Sized Collar
Take the neck size and see if it fits within one of our standard size ranges. If you need a custom size, please feel free to contact me. For example, your dog is a beagle and falls into the “medium category” but her neck size is 19”. I will custom make your dog’s collar in ¾” width and a length up to 21”.
PLEASE NOTE that sizes below are general guidelines as every pup is unique. For example, I had a Beagle that weighed around 26 lbs. however, she was very small so I had a 5/8" width collar for her and it worked perfectly.
